Marketplace & Platform Builds
Marketplaces, wallets, SaaS products, and internal money tools — from an empty repository to production
I've taken platforms from an empty repository to thousands of users and years of live operation. GigSocial — a two-sided creator marketplace with escrow, digital wallets, dispute resolution, and global payouts — was built this way, and we're still working together years later. The builds are fixed scope with a fixed fee: the marketplace money layer in three to five weeks, wallets and escrow in three to four, and whole platforms in phases you approve one at a time. You own the code from the first commit.
Marketplaces
- Two-sided platforms: onboarding, listings, search, messaging, reviews
- Escrow and digital wallet systems with complete transaction tracking
- Stripe Connect and multi-rail payouts (card, ACH, MassPay) for sellers worldwide
- Dispute resolution, commissions, and the operational tooling behind them
SaaS & subscription products
- Subscription billing on Stripe Billing — trials, proration, usage-based pricing — reconciled from day one
- Multi-tenancy, role-based access, admin dashboards, and analytics
- Self-service customer portals, dunning and recovery that finance can read
- Architecture that survives success: background jobs, idempotent webhooks, monitoring
Internal platforms & modernization
- Custom ERPs and internal tools: inventory, order processing, bookkeeping, payroll
- Legacy modernization — like migrating eifas's fintech platform from AngularJS to React with 100% uptime
- Integrations with banking APIs, OCR, accounting, and shipping providers
- Workflow automation that removes the manual steps your team hates
Stack & tools
- Ruby on Rails
- Next.js
- React
- PostgreSQL
- Redis
- Elasticsearch
- Stripe Connect
- AWS / Azure
